This year welcomes the 21st national "Safe Work Month" in June with the theme of "Observing Safe Work Law and Being Responsible". In order to effectively increase safety awareness among workers and intensify education on safe work, Rudong Tianheng Environmental Service carried out a series of activities for this "Safe Work Month".

01 Opening Ceremony

On June 15, Rudong Tianheng held the launching ceremony of 2022Q2 military training and safe work exercise in Rudong County People's Armed Forces Department.

Zhang Furong, deputy director of Urban Management and Law Enforcement of Rudong County, Zhao Hui, party committee political work chief of the People's Armed Forces Department, corporate members from Rudong Tianheng, and employees from various waste cleaning and transfer departments attended the event.

Zhao Hui expressed his affirmation and support for Rudong Tianheng's concern for the cause of national defense and safety development.

Yang Jianyin, general manager of Rudong Tianheng, said that the company always takes safe work as the first priority for development. In the face of applying for National Civilized City, Yang encouraged all workers of Rudong Tianheng to comprehensively improve work efficiency and create a positive working attitude, so as to provide better service to customers and forge better brand image of Tianheng.

Zhang Furong stated that the "Safe Work Month" activities effectively reflected the far-reaching significance of fulfilling social responsibility and showing Tianheng's role.

02 Military Training

In this military training, Rudong Tianheng specially invited instructors from the Human Armed Forces Department to take basic movements as the main form of training and to achieve the best training effect as the goal. The main contents of the military training include: fast gathering and standing in line, counting and hailing training; saluting, standing at attention, taking a short rest, formation and line training; stopping and turning training on all sides.

During the training period, the participants shouted the slogan of "strictly abide by the rules, observe discipline, ensure safety and steady development", boosting the team's momentum and further showing the working style and spirit of Rudong Tianheng people.

03 Safe Work Knowledge Lecture

Wang Weijuan, a professional legal advisor, was invited to give lectures on work safety. Based on Road Traffic Safety Law and Company Law of the People's Republic of China, the lectures further strengthened the participants' knowledge and understanding of relevant laws and regulations, especially in areas where awareness of protecting the site can be stressed and ability to prevent accidents can be improved.

04 Drill for Typhoon and Flood Emergency Control

Rudong Tianheng also organised a volunteer service team to carry out an emergency drill for typhoon and flood prevention and control. Under the command of Yang Jianyin, the service team responded quickly and carried out proactive measures against fallen trees and blocked manholes on municipal roads, as well as knocked over rubbish bins and flood control in residential areas.

In 2022, Rudong Tianheng's "Safe Work Month" activities focused on safety hazard investigation and treatment, emergency handling ability enhancement and safe work awareness strengthening. It aims to further enhance a safe working environment where participants can practically apply what they have learned in the activities to their actual work, and contribute to building high-quality development for Rudong.
